What are the advantages of cellulose?

Cellulose is a type of cellulose whose production and usage will increase rapidly. It is a non-inorganic cellulose mixed ether made from refined cotton after deashing, using propylene oxide and methyl chloride as etherification agents, and through a series of reactions. (2) The viscosity of cellulose is related to the size of the relative molecular mass, and the larger the relative molecular mass, the higher the viscosity. Temperature will also affect its viscosity, the temperature rises, the viscosity decreases. But its high viscosity and high temperature are less harmful than carboxycellulose. Its aqueous solution is stable when stored at room temperature.

(3) The water retention and solubility of cellulose lies in its addition amount, viscosity, etc., and its water retention rate under the same amount of addition is higher than that of carboxycellulose.

(4) Cellulose is resistant to acid and alkali, and its solution is very stable in the range of pH=2~12. Anhydrous aluminum chloride and lime slurry have no great influence on its properties, but alkali can accelerate its melting rate and improve its viscosity. Cellulose is reliable to common acid salts, but when the concentration of the salt solution is high, the viscosity of the cellulose solution tends to increase.

(5) Cellulose can be used with water-soluble polymers to form a uniform and high-viscosity aqueous solution. Such as acrylic emulsion, tapioca starch ether, vegetable glue, etc.

(6) Cellulose has stronger enzyme resistance than carboxycellulose, and its aqueous solution is less likely to be dissolved by enzymes than carboxycellulose.

(7) The adhesion of cellulose to cement mortar construction is higher than that of carboxycellulose.
