Ceramic grade HPMC Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is a non-ionic cellulose ether made from natural polymer material (cotton) cellulose through a series of chemical processing. It is a white powder that swells into a clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution in cold water. It has the characteristics of thickening, bonding, dispersion, emulsification, film formation, suspension, adsorption, gelation, surface activity, moisture retention and protective colloid.

The use of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose HPMC in the production of ceramic technology increases the plasticity and strength of the embryo body or glaze, greatly increases the lubricating effect, and is beneficial to ball milling. In addition, the suspension and stability are greatly enhanced, and the porcelain is fine. , The tone is soft. The glaze machine is smooth, has good light transmittance, collision resistance, and has a certain degree of mechanical strength. HPMC has thermal gel properties and is widely used as a binder in ceramic production.

Storage:

Store it in a cool, dry place below 30°C and protected against humidity and pressing, since the goods is thermoplastic, storage time should not exceed 36 months.
